Used Family Car - Atul
What can I buy a good Used Family Car for less than 5000 £?

Thanks!

You could buy it a car care kit, sponge polish that sort of thing, and have money left from £5000 for a holiday. It might also like a roof rack, or cushions. Is it it's birthday?

Very funny, Mike. Have you thought about becoming a comedian or getting a life, instead of wasting honestjohn's resources on this web site?
Re: Used Family Car - David Stone
That is the dumbest comments I've seen. It's not even funny or witty.
Re: Used Family Car - phil garner
C'mon mike, I don't think Atul has made a typo here.

Right, so we want space (estate), economy (diesel) and for less than £5k. I suggest an Audi 80 TDI from '95.

Also a VW Passat (old shape) estate TDi from the same era.

Atul should get himself down to The Great Trade Centre, White City, London.

You wouldn't even get me making comments like that and I'm renowned for wasting HJ's valuable web-space on "witty" one-liners!
Re: Dumb Comments and Helpful comments - Rob Stieger
It is one thing to help someone improve their English with a few witty comments, but Mike was out of order. Sorry about my own mistyped name!!

Atul: Try out the supersites as listed by honestjohn elsewhere, such as Motorpoint of Derby, depending on whichever is nearest to you.

Insufficient data.
How many kids, how big?
What are your priorities and prejudices?
(I was in this situation twice with small kids and did (1) old Audi 100 estate (2) oldest shape BMW 320i touring (smaller, but great drive) )
