96 1.4 Brake fluid warning light problem - Rosie50
About every 2 months, the brake fluid warning light comes on when braking.
The reservoir is filled almost to the max, but a small amount of additional brake fluid solves the problem for a couple more months. Is the sensor just over sensitive and is it normal to lose brake fluid all the time, even if slowly? The brakes seem fine and the MOT in June showed no brake problems.

You have a leak - take it to a garage for a check-up. If it wasn't noticed at MoT then it's likely the leak is at the rear and hidden behind the drum; either that or the car was quite wet when you took it in.
