Audi A6 (2004 - 2009) - Audi Air Suspension

Audi Air Suspension - 4sprung
Does anyone out there have any advice about the reliability of Audi air suspension? My company 2.7TDI Avant has done 50k totally relaible miles across europe, much of it pulling a caravan - but should I worry about the suspension if I buy it from the company??

I recently looked into buying an A6 estate with air suspension, and I have to admit that some of the threads on the Audi forums put me off a bit. Having said that you do see some that have covered high mileages and I don't think their air suspension is any worse than other systems - it's just expensive when it does fail.

yes - that's about what I think, that's helpful. Having owned a lot of varied cars there's something about this one that's really got to me. Nothing has bettered it for high speed long journey comfort.
