Windscreen effecting - TAG - autumnboy

I've recently got a TAG for the Severn Bridge Toll.

In the instructions, in placing the TAG in the car.
They say if you have a "metallised windscreen, it should be placed in the special area in the centre of the screen surrounding the interior mirror". I had difficulty with a 'Road Angle' not picking up satellites.

Any clues where this might be on a Pug 307, the only thing I can see different is the area with a load of black dots behind the mirror. You often see people waving their arms around trying to get their Tag to work, reversing and forward etc. at the tolls.

I don't want to be one of them.

I have a 307 and SFAIK the non metallised area is the polka dot bit round the mounting of the interior rear view mirrow ie top centre. I have to use a remote internal aerial on the rear parcel shelf to get my sat nav to work in the car. Aerial on the dash doesn't pull in any signal.
