Getting rid of 'scrap' cars - borasport20
I know BackRoomers have often asked who to report 'scrap' or 'abandoned' cars to - should it be the police, the DVLA, the council....

Well it looks like there is a breakers who will sort your problems on a nod and a wink

Especially when you have to produce about 80 forms of ID to replace a cracked number plate on a bike to get through it's MoT....

Can't say I haven't been tempted, especially when a local "wag" used to park his car on a lane at the back of my house making it difficult to pass in anything wider than a bike. This was solved by SWMBO laser look of death though.

I've done this. I once owned a block of bedsits which we were demolishing. We needed to get rid of three old and battered cars in the car park and I simply asked alocal scrappy to take them away. All they wanted was my name and address. I gave them the address of the block we were demolishing.
