What items do I have to keep in my car by law?
Can you tell me what items I have to keep in my car by law please? There two things I can think of which may be required, a warning triangle and two yellow vests but I am not sure.

In the UK there are no items you are legally required to carry. If stopped by the police you are required to show a valid driving licence, proof of insurance and a valid MoT certificate if required, but if you do not have these items to hand you have seven days to produce them at a police station.
