Buy used car at auction now or Jan? - GreatestDancer

So I've got about £11k burning a hole in my pocket, am hoping to buy an ex-fleet diesel automatic car (audi a4 / passat / volvo s60 or equivalent).

I've been reading the auction news for a few months now and figure I'm ready to have a go myself. Question is - will I get more for my money now or after christmas?

If I were you, I wouldnt buy at my first auction. I would go there a couple of times first to see how it works, who the traders are, the lingo used etc etc. You may even see the same cars going through.

All that means you may not have enough time to get one bought before xmas.
