I have a P reg 306 with a keycode immobiliser. The code is 1111. I am led to believe this is the factory setting and therefore would like to change it. Unfortunately the car came with a handbook for a later model which has nothing about a keycode immobiliser in it. Can anyone tell me how i go about changing the code?

Switch on ignition
Enter existing code
Press button C
enter a new code which MUST be 4 digits
Press button C to activate code
switch off ignition
The old and new code are BOTH valid until one of them is first used. The other is then lost and only one remains active.
