Well this is really one for your insurance company or a copy of What Car? but the answer is 4 for the 1.4, 5/6 for the 1.6, 6/7 for the 1.8 and 8 for the 2.0 Zetec and Ghia. The ST170 and RS are obviously higher and I'm not too sure about the diesels.

Actually, www.drivethedeal.com is doing a Focus 1.4 Studio (which should have ABS), leccy windows, central locking and... that's it really for £7800 brand new.
3 year warranty, safe, reasonably stylish, and sell it when she's finished uni for about £5000!
