Got a Golf Plus and have a full set of the original Cross Climates 205/55 16's at 44k up and have rotated them F-R and R-F as 4mm tread on the rear and 3.75 on the fronts. Very good tyres with amazing levels of lateral grip. Very reassuring in the snow & ice! Would highly recommend them to anybody.

Well done Sister, don't join the herd with the electric parking brake just because lots of other people are prepared to put up or talked into such pointless tat.

I'm surprised and disappointed conservative Subaru have gone down this road, they've ruled the 2009 on Outback from my wife's future shopping list for this very reason, just as Toyota has ruled its Avensis out for the same reason, no ta, hows about getting back to your old ethos Subaru/Toyota, ''it wasn't broke so we didn't fix it''.

In all honesty i think your Sis will miss the Subaru, maybe think again about changing makes.

Candid Camera:

Surely the Police have interviewed the owner of the hotel and established if staff can speak to the delivery of linen on the day in question and if they can identify the driver of the van from a court proceedings perspective?

The owner of the van must have been interviewed by the police in terms of Section 172, The Road Traffic Act 1972 where they are required to identify the driver of the van at the time in question or face a significant fine / penalty points for failing to do so.

The owner of the company is also required to maintain a log recording the identity of drivers of each company vehicle on each occasion it is used. Was this inspected?

Surely, as suggested, the police have inspected both your vehicle and the vehicles owned by the laundry for the transference of paint etc. Surely they don’t have a large fleet of vehicles.

TF's parking problem. I live in Havering, the Slanley Road car park is 'season ticket only' during the day 7:00am to 6:00pm, it's is a 'Pay and display' at other times, though free on Sundays.

Although a London Borough, Havering is on the Eastern edge of the GLA, one border is the M25, and Romford is the better known location of Slanley Road. Oddly, it is not one of the main shopper's car parks, being in the office area of the town.

"Another way to prevent this is to keep the keys inside a signal blocking ‘Faraday’ bag, available on Amazon and eBay."

Even cheaper, find and buy biscuits in a metal tin.
1) You get a very nice Faraday cage
2) You get some nice biscuits
