Vauxhall Vectra C - Water in boot - luisedinho

At the end of march I bought an 05 SRI-when I got it home I noticed an inch or 2 of water in spare wheel well and a wet mouldy carpet. I got this sorted and thought all was well.

Today I noticed the underside of the boot carpet was wet from well-passenger side and on the bottom only and the bodywork beneath, even the well and bodywork were dry. I checked the 2 cubbyholes in the boot-drivers side bone dry and passenger side cold-damp possibly. It is only the 1 side suffering from this. There was no pools of water this time, just wet in that bottom side area and bodywork is in good condition too.

Any ideas where the problem is coming from? I have had a look and nothing sticks out. Any instructions for a novice to follow?

Check the wiring harness rubber grommet is correctly positioned in the near side rain channel up near the tailgate hinge on the near side. These have a habit of popping out and the water fills the spare wheel well.
