March 2006

Small Picanto/Panda sized 5-door hatch. 3,710mm long by 1,643mm wide by 1,480mm high.

Powered by 1,149cc 74bhp four and capable of 170km/h (106mph) with 0-60 in 12.3 seconds. 14" steel or alloy wheels with 165/50 R14 tyres. Available in Malaysia from June 2005 in STRATOS (metallic blue), MIDNIGHT (metallic black) and MAGMA (solid chilli red).

Manual or automated manual transmission. Standard equipment includes radio/CD player, reverse distance sensors and ABS. 50/50 split fully flat folding folding rear seats seats allow 909 litres luggage capacity when folded.

The Savvy comes in two different options, the Street, available from £5,995 on the road and the Savvy Style, from £6,995 on the road. Higher spec Style models have air conditioning with pollen filter and alloy wheels as additional standard items. Both models have Proton Peace of Mind Warranty Package which includes 3 year/60,000 mile warranty and 3 years free RAC cover.

Savvy Style models available from UK Proton dealerships from January 2006, with Street models following in February. Automated manual transmission Style models available from February 2006.

In 2006, Proton introduced a "Savvy Zerokit" variant that includes an all-round bodykit and rear spoiler and 15" JRD 155 wheels with 175/50 R15 tyres. Additional options included "dark titanium" headlights, performance suspension and a performance rear exhaust silencer that increases the power output of up by 4 hp (3 kW) to 78 hp (58 kW).
