Do I have to pa tax on my Irish bought car?

I have just bought a Citroen C2 1.4 VTR on Southern Irish plate and I'm unsure what to do? I paid a grand for it, it has 77,000 KMs on the clock.

Will I have to pay tax on this? It has a UK MOT on it done by chassis number, so everything must be road legal on it to pass. Will I have to pay duty on this car as I bought it from a independent dealer?

I'm just a bit worried I might have made a mistake.

Shouldn't have to but will have to declare it to HMRC in order to import it to the UK. Can't stay on Irish plates in the UK for longer than 6 months.
