What are the advantages and disadvantages of a K and N Air filters on a 2005 Peugeot 307?

Improved airflow into the engine, but for that to be of benefit the ECU needs remapping and then there are insurance implications.

Only fit if you are prepared to pay, pay and pay again. A complete waste of time and money on your car.
