Did you know a man was killed when thrown from a pick-up truck on a speed bump?

A man was killed after he was thrown out of a pick-up truck when it hit a speed bump in Malvern, Durban on 5 November. The man was travelling along Spence Road with another man in the back of the pick-up when they hit a speed bump. The truck had been converted to have an open load bed surrounded by a metal cage. One of the men grabbed hold of the cage as he was flung from the moving vehicle, while the other was flung forward, landing on the road in front of the truck that then ran him over. He died of severe injuries to the top half of his body and his head.
