Do I have to retake my test if I am banned from driving for getting 12 points?
If I am banned from driving for a year, after getting 12 points, will I have to retake the driving test before getting my licence back? I am 84.

If you are disqualified from driving by the court you will have to reapply for your driving licence when the ban is completed, and the court will also notify you if you are required to take an extended retest. This is typically applied where the circumstances of the ban are for particular serious offenses, such as excessive speeding and dangerous driving.
