How can I improve the ride quality of my Dacia Duster?

Is there anything I can do to make the ride on my 2021 Dacia Duster more comfortable? Can I uprate the suspension and fit different tyres?

The simplest option for improving the ride of your car is to change the tyres for a version with a taller sidewall. You should be able to increase the aspect ratio of your current tyres by 5 or 10 without any issues, and this taller sidewall will increase the amount of cushioning that it can offer. Depending on the wheels currently fitted to your car, you could also consider fitting wheels with a smaller diameter with tyres to match.

Changing the suspension is a more expensive and complicated process, as you would need to find a set of springs that are softer than those currently fitted to the vehicle. In addition, the original dampers are matched to the springs to ensure ride and handling are consistent, so switching springs without changing the dampers may lead to the ride becoming less controlled.
