As of January 2023, the zones requiring a Crit'Air sticker are within the A86 area of Paris from Monday to Friday, as well as Lyon, Aix-Marseille, Toulouse, Nice, Montpellier, Strasbourg, Grenoble, Rouen, Reims and Saint-Étienne.
You can view the information in more detail on the government website here: certificat-air.gouv.fr/, which suggests you will not require one for your vehicle in the Cherbourg area. However, it is worth double-checking - you can consult the government website or contact the local tourist board, but at less than 4 Euros for a sticker, it may be worth buying one anyway.
