Emergency handbook launched for new drivers

Published 25 July 2013

A book designed to help new and young drivers cope with roadside emergencies has been launched by Veloce Publishing. The Essential Driver’s Handbook, by Bruce Grant-Braham, has 95-pages packed with useful and practical advice on: how to cope with accidents, provide first aid and deal with breakdowns.

Endorsed by the UK’s police, fire and ambulance services, the book is printed in full colour and provides a wealth of help for new and young drivers. A range of specialist topics are covered, including tips for lone drivers and help in dealing with security problems in car parks.

The book also has a chapter dedicated to the UK's driving regulations, with clear and concise advice relating to legal obligations for all those who may be involved, and explanations of the actions of the emergency services.

The Essential Driver’s Handbook is priced at £9.99 and is available from all good bookshops. Alternatively, you can order a copy direct from Veloce Publishing here
