Peugeot 307 SW - loss of power. peugeot 307 sw se hdi 06 - m00nie

hi

drove up to sheffield on the motorway other night approx 60 miles.

on the return the car seemed to have no power. the first bit on the accelrator seems to start but then theres no real pull on it. its like its not got the extra umph it used to have.

have been googling now for couple of days and seems like could be one of 3 things but unsure how to establish which of them it is if any..

1) the particlate filter blocked causing it to be in limp mode ?

2) mass air flow meter ?

3) split pipe ?

have noticed under the bonnet there seems to have been a spray of oil/soot which mar rule out number 2 as thinking it could be from a split pipe or blow back from the filter??

have took a picture of under the bonnet and can see the soot (??) on the right allen key bolt (as you can guess my car knowledge is non existent)

any advise would be greatly received..

finaly had this fixed today..

had a hole in a pipe from the turbo (turbo pressure pipe? )

also had the partiucle filter taken off and cleaned as error was showing on teh diagnostics.

came in @£200 to fix..

35 diagnostics check and resets

33 new pipe

10 antifreeze

90 labour

then vat..

had seen a detailed thread on my searches to self clean the filter but i hadnt the space/tools/balls to do it so pretty pleased with the cost..

I have exactly the same problem! - Did you have to remove the heat shield or turbo to fix this? Where is this "Turbo Pressure Pipe"???
