Is it possible to remove a Mondeo engine by lifting?
What are the disadvantages?

AFAIK, you have to drop the subframe and engine down together, or lift the car body up off the engine and subframe to get the engine and gearbox out. I wouldn't think it would come out through the top as a lump, and it would be difficult to separate the engine from the gearbox without dropping the subframe.
