Hi, doin a mate a favour tomorrow by replacing his head gasket. The car is a 1992 (K), Pug 306, 1400cc Petrol. Are there any common probs to watch out for and can anyone supply me with the correct torque settings / procedure for the head bolts pls. Thx

For a '93 KDZ[?] code unit, the maximum re-usable length for the bolts is given as 176.5mm - or better still, use new [lightly greased] ones.
Spiralling out from the centre two, tighten first to 20 Nm, then 240 degrees.
