Anyone know anywhere around Heathrow area that sells throttle body cleaner?
All I can find on t'internet is American places. Valvoline Synpower looks promising.

any motorist shop or halfords will have aerosol carb cleaner.....or even cheaper our local pound shops have it

i've used carb cleaner before but was told that tb cleaner is better at getting everything out

I have used WD40 on my daughter's Polo with complete success, it may not be advertised as suitable, but it was to hand and did the job. If you have some its worth a try.

carb cleaner is a little bit tame and not as easily sourced these days, better is brake cleaner and easily sourced i pay £3 a tin aerosol,make sure no naked flames and let it evaporate before cranking engine.
Good for cleaning rubbish off the engine too

But remember that if this is something like a volo with the mm throttle body the problem is probably physical damage to the conductive surface. cleaner might clean up a bit of dirt but sooner or later yo uneed a new body - or swap trhe car while you can!
