my daughters 106 diesel is suffering from misfire/power loss and chucking a load of smoke out of exhaust,anyone offer suggestion to problem please?

If so, a possible head gasket..

Has it been regularly serviced?

Check oil condition
Air filter (could be blocked)
Fuel filter

Then if all OK..

go to Peugeot garage...
