I'm hungry for info on these engines. I'm hoping that they're a new design and not based on the stalling, flatspotted, non-starting Mondeo TDCi units I've read so much about.
So can anyone reveal:
Cam chain driven?
Completely different to Mondeo TDCi?

The 1.6 and the 2.0 TDCI (HDI) engines in the C-Max are the new Peugeot/Citroen/Ford engines. I havent driven them, but history shows the Peugeot/Citroen engines to be far better and far more reliable than the Ford lump.
I think they are belt driven
Yes, completely different to the Mondeo engines.
