Any forum members affected? No mention of Seat?

But what a disappointment, another major fault on top of Dieselgate, DSG gearbox faults, timing chain faults, and ABS module faults to name a few.

Certainly not changed my mind about never buying a VW group car.

I was aware of issues with the infotainment system, including sat nav, but I hadn't given any such emergency call system much thought. But as it will no doubt all be tied together, it would seem inevitable that problems specific to the SOS system would also start.

It’s not just a VAG problem. Toyota and Hyundai have recalls for this too!!!

I understand with VAG cars its the ones based on the latest platforms with the very latest infotainment set up, the one which controls the heating etc. Some models are still being made with the earlier separate heater controls and I understand they are not affected.

So only buy a VAG car with old fashioned heater controls until its sorted.
