Who's Mark Evans?
I don't get channel 5, or watch anything on ITV apart from local news. However, living in N Ireland I get the Irish channels. I saw the "new" series of the Sopranos way before E4 got their hands on it. Same with ER - I'm about 12 weeks ahead so far.
And (hears Mark sharpening his scissors) I get to watch the Irish motoring programme which is imaginatively entitled "Drive". Not too bad, actually, but a little tame. Apart from reviewing cars, it looks at wider motoring issues, safer driving, etc, as well as doing things like following a week in the life of a keen (female) driver on a budget who rented a Ferrari for that one week. She made some interesting observations about attitudes displayed towards her in the car park!
