Hi all, just wondering whether the technical experts on here could confirm what type of DPF a 2013 peugeot 508sw has fitted. The car in question has the 2.0 HDI 140hp engine. What i would like to know is, has it the eloyses fluid based system, or has it the coated "dry" version?. I've asked a few people (owners) and no-one seems to know. All i can tell is that it's the pre ad-blue version fitted to later models. Many thanks in advance for any responses.

It'll be an additive based system - it's all PSA use, including in the Euro 6 Ad-Blue cars.

Your going to have to post the three letters from the middle of the VIN,

RHY or similar.

Drivers handbook should tell you about filling the Adblue, and it will be in an easy to access location.

If it doesn't it will be Eloys and a tank or pouch probably under the rear left wheel arch, very hard to reach.

Many thanks for the above responses, a big help. AFAIK the ad-blue system was only fitted to the "face lift" model 2015? onwards. Once again, thank you.

Quite possible, the E6 cars are badged 'BlueHDI'. No matter, as they still use Eolys additive for the FAP, even if fitted with the SCR which uses the Ad-Blue.
