  Aspiring DIY mechanic looking for some advice fixing my old mk1 ford ka 2008 on 60k miles for learning purposes. Problem started when clutch pedal is pressed; a clunking noise comes from the bellhousing which goes away when in gear .   I have a 2019 fiesta st , about 9 months ago i was so lucky to hit a pot hole i ended up having to replace  the wheel , i had the car tracking and all that done , i also took the car to my ford main dealer and paid for it to be checked over , and was told nothing was wrong. I have also had a full service from ford and car was given a green bill of health .    I am now trading my car in for a new golf as i just fancy a change.

  Hi, I have recently purchased a 2006 Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI at auction (hindsight is a wonderful thing) and now when I start it up there is a loud constant beep sound being omitted from the dash which lasts approx 5 seconds (the beep sounds similar to the kind of beep you would get if you left the lights on and opened the door on most cars) .

  Good morning Ford Focus (2004) is draining battery overnight. Two diagnostics (£90 each) - First one signalled problem with the radio which was disconnected. Low and behold next day battery was still dead. Second one pointed to a problem with the central locking system in the drivers door.
