  • Mondeo recall? 4 Oct 2003 (Forum)
Ford are recalling all 2003 Mondeos due to an assmbly fault which results in a direct connection between the exhaust catalyser and the ashtray inside the car. Originally this new feature came about as a result of some clever thinking by the exhaust designers using backdraught and advanced eddy technology to clear the contents of the ashtray directly into the catalyser of Duratorq-engined cars.
  • Citroen Berlingo First Van 1.4 Petrol 2009 - 1.4 Berlingo Van Steering Knock & Tracking Issues 15 Mar 2014 (Forum)
Currently, on motorways when power on it's much better as if the thrust pulls steering into line but when powering off, though the steering wants to go straight and is dead straight, there's still this pull from the /n/s/f and a dipping sensation   - almost like the n/s/f tyre is running on its edge - if you get me. Again, currently, if I move from standstill the steering still seems loose but seems more solid the higher the speed - less loose that is.

  • Buying advice please 26 Nov 2022 (Forum)
I have to carry around large rotavators and bee hives so I'm looking at Citroen Berlingo or Fiat Doblo. But it occurred to me that the Ford Galaxy might be more comfortable. Most of my journeys are less than 5 miles so I'm looking at a petrol model. My budget is £7k. A lot of the Ford Galaxies use the Ecoboost engines so should I be wary of them?
