• Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCI - White grey smoke 11 Sep 2017 (Forum)
  I have Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci 2012 model  which was not in use for 5-6 months after that the white smoke from exhaust on starting up which dissipates after 50 - 60 seconds. It's not dependant on the weather however I've noticed it's when the car has been stood after a couple of hours, obviously more noticeable on start up first thing.

  I have tried both keys and it happens on either of them so its not a key fault. Being an auto, i was told by ford garage it could be a dodgy car battery/alternator or starter motor. Has anyonr else experianced the same issue as me? To confirm its a Focus 1.6 zetec automatic 2006 model. And its only done 87k miles.

  Hi guys and Gals, Car is Ford Fiesta LX 1.25 2000 plate. Yup, getting on , done 45, 000 miles, first real problem? I've had. (apart from corrosion lol ) The title says it all. When I start to maintain 50 mph plus along an A road or motorway, I start getting Chirping, squeaking, rattling sound from near side Front wheel area at high speed.

  Hi, I am new to the forum and have a problem with my Ford Bantam LDV. It has the Endura DE diesel motor and was running nicely when all of a sudden it became sluggish to start. I replaced the fuel lines to ensure that there is no air in the system, and also replaced the glow plugs.

  We have a 1.8 tdci 2007 Mondeo, it's just had a full service and just passed it's Mot but a few days after it wouldn't start in the morning even tho the battery was fine, we managed to get it started and brought it back to Ford who said there wasn't any faults showing and it was starting every time, we thought okay problem solved but then it happened again, its now happening nearly every morning, the funny thing is we discovered if you try a few different combinations of locking unlocking the car all if a sudden it  will then start when ya turn the key.

  Hi All I have a weired problem with my ford focus diesel. It is loosing power on acceleration. If I push the accelerator very very gently, the car does speeds up. But if I am, like overtaking, the car shudders, looses power and I can see the RPM needle erratic movement.

  I drive around 40k miles per year and always try and buy older low mileage cars to keep the costs down, I only generally have them a year or so before changing. I have put a deposit down on a 2009 ford focus 2.0ltr TDI which has only 14k miles on the clock. It is ex mobility with a full service history.  I have just noticed it is the dpf model and based on the various info I have now seen on the internet I am Worried that because of the age of the vehicle (5 years) and the low mileage the dpf could be at risk of future problems.

Side lights work and headlights would work briefly but when indicator was put on it would turn off.   Hi this is my 1st post so i do apologise because if i get anything wrong as i'm new too this forum . I have a 62 reg Ford Focus 1.6 tdci Titanium X that intermittently reports with a message that reads  " Park Aid Malfunction Service Required " and i lose all power on the doors ie no central lockinkg no power too windows boot won't open and the only way too lock it is with the key inside the key fob .
