  Hi, I looking to spend 5K on a second hand Mazda MX-5. Does any one have any advice on what to buy/not buy. Any problems I should know about. Are there any motoring clubs that could help with this car. Finally does any one know of a good dealer that sells these cars.

  Keen to speak to he/she or anyone else who has had damage caused by this problem. I too bought a Mazda 6 from Carshop and have had exactly the same scenario, except I didn't have the extended warranty, although it seems it woulD have been useless anyway

  Hi,   I have a Mazda 6 2l diesel 2002 model.  I need to check the timing but to do this i need to remove the offside engine mount to remove the timing cover.  I have been told that this is possible by placing a jack under the engine to support it.

  I placed an order request at work for the lease company to arrange for my chosen replacement car - a 2008 Mazda 6 Estate in Stormy Blue. Months have since passed and the lease company is saying that they are unable to get hold of any estates whatever the colour as they are discontinued. This is despite my investigation with the local dealer who said they are available and orders are being taken fir specific models that are not.

  The problem was that his car would not idle and stall at junctions. I am interested in purchasing a Mazda 6 121BHP diesel. And I have been trying to find out as much information about the problems with Mazda 6 diesels. I spoke to my local Mazda dealer. Said that the car is generally very realiable. Mentioned the stalling of Mazda 6 diesels.

  As a Mazda owner new to this Diesel problem since I bought my Mazda 6 in January 2010, I seem to have fallen in at the deep end. I haven't had the oil level problem (yet) maybe bacause of the amount of motorway driving I do.

  at 107000 miles. Total running costs of a Mazda 6 now exceeding £6000 for the last 10,000 miles. Takes some beating? The car has a full main dealer service history. Anyone else with similar experiences of this notoriously reliable marque?

  I have a 58 plate Mazda 6 2.0L Diesel. I have had the dreaded dpf light come on and took it to the Mazda dealer. They advised changing the oil and filter and regenerating the dpf. I opted to change the oil and filter myself and return it for them to them to do the regeneration.

  I couldn’t believe it! I went to Mazda Tamworth and been told that is rod bearing and needs half an engine replaced!!!!! Quote 4,5-5k pounds!!! I asked mazda manager to speak to Mazda customer service to cover it as Its engine fault and since I bout it Id did service at Mazda dealer.

  Hi, i have posted previously about my mazda 6 & everyone else's DPF or related problems. If you have not already done so you have to get in contact with watchdog even if your claim is resolved. Even people who dont have mazda's but are having the DPF problem.

  Went in to my Mazda dealer today to ask if there were any Mazda supply problems and to ask about deals on the Takuya Special Edition. He has told me that there are supply problems due to the Japanese earthquake but also that the Takuya is not being produced any more.
