    I have just viewed a 1999 T registration 1.0 litre Nissan Micra Inspiration that has 55000 on the clock and I am considering for purchase.   MOT advisory from March this year states: 001 Power steering belt perished.

  i part exchanged my nissan for another used car, but i found the car had a few faults. the sun roof leaked and the alternator was faulty. the dealer agreed that i could swap the car back for the one i part exchanged.

  Hi. I have a nissan micra k11 cabrio. When my fuel level falls to 1/4 of a tank, the engine cuts on right turns. The car will start immediately or bump start once i straighten out and continue until i do another right turn or take a right bend.

  I have a 1991 1.2 Nissan Micra, it's done about 56,000 miles and has been a good car, until recently. Over the past 4 months the head gasket has gone twice and as you can imagine that's cost me quite a bit. Just before Christmas it died again and the garage have told me it's now in such a bad state they are looking for a second hand engine to put in it.

  Next question then is, what keys should I press to allow me to enter the correct code (I do know the 4 digit code)?  The radio is a basic nissan one with oner cd. Thanks.

  I've had the car serviced 3 times from the same dealer since, but when I recently took it to a registered Nissan garage to get a new key programmed, they noticed the warranty and service book were for a completely different car. Obviously this means that my car is without a service history, which goes against what the dealer advised.

  Prices are similar although some garages are quoting more for Bosal, and some are saying they may no longer be able to get the Bosal parts. An original Nissan exhaust is no longer available. The original system has lasted  for ten years of short journies, which I consider a good life. Now I am looking for a quality product that lasts as long as possible.

  Hi, I own a Nissan Micra S 1.0, X Reg, and I currently have a warning indicator on the dashboard whilst driving , but I have no idea what it indicates as I didn't get an owner's manual when I bought the car second hand.

  there seems to be a lot of discussion re oil leaks in nissan x trail. for some time I had a minor oil leak so took it to my local garage who tightened various things. It was alright for a few weeks but then started leaking with a vengeance. The vehicle has just returned from garage with having had a new turbo fitted.

  My xtrail comes with a full size 16" spare steel wheel, fitted with a 215/65 R16 98M Bridgestone TEMPORARY tyre, pressure 44psi. Nissan say i cannot fit a different tyre to this rim. I cannot tow with this wheel/tyre, and the speed limit is 50mph I can buy a 16" steel spare wheel, fitted with a tyre of the same make as the rest of the wheels.

  Hello to all: I'm having a problem changing the sidelight (parking light) on my Nissan Almera 1.8 SE, 51 reg; the N16, I believe it is. The sidelight bulb sits in a separate little holder of its own (not in with the headlight bulb). According to the instruction manual, removing the holder is a simple matter of turning anti-clockwise and pulling.

  Hello All, Commitee member of the GTO/3000GT club here (so if anyone has any GTO related questions I will be happy to answer them to trade for some information!) My father has recently bought a Nissan Note 1.6 He's very happy with the car - but wants to put a towbar on it (light towing only - the kerb weight is too low for much else). Looking at the internet there are plenty of towbars available for the car - problem is that they all require cutting of the bumper to fit.

  Hi Recently the clutch on my Nissan Terrano 2.7 TDI has been sticking. We realised that there has been a leak. We bled it and re filled it the fluid but it was still leaking. It happens that there has been a piece of the pipe which has rotted away causing the leak.

  Because the car is in very good condiiton would it be a good idea to have the engine repaired or a replacement sourced? If the worse has to happen and I scap the car does anyone know of a recycler of Nissan cars in the Swindon/Bristol area? Thank you one and all.

  A friend of mine has Nissan Almera, which has no manual key, only a remote key fob. There is not even a key hole in the door. Before going to New Zealand recently for 7 weeks, she disconnected the battery so that it would not discharge whilst she is away.

  I'm in the market for something similar and the Honda CR-V has been top of the shopping list for SWMBO for sometime now. Pitched up at the local Nissan dealer to look around the new X-Trail and only got as far as sitting in the back of one for it to be written off the list of possibles. I'm not exactly tall (5' 11") and my head was squashed against the roof, which I found astonishing in a car in this class.

  Hi just got my Nissan Tino last week its a 2002 model ,as days go by you start to notice things about the car you didn't notice when i first got it... hope this is normal just noticed when you start the car first thing in the morning you can hear a very very slight knocking noise just for a 5- 10 sec period then it goes away is this normal, its a 1.8 twin cam very slight knocking i may say any help would be great thanks s

  Hi all, I've just returned from my trip to South West Cork - very good time was had, especially enjoyed the driving :-) I rented a car which when I collected was a brand new Nissan Almera Saloon - very comfortable drive, althouhg the ride was a tad hard for some of the roads. On the small widing roads round the coast it handled superbly. One thing that I wasn't sure about, and wanted to ask about, was - is it normal for the headlights on this model to not really illuminate the road much past a few metres, and not really to the side?

  The glasses guide site now charges and to be honest, their valuations tend not to take into account regional variations. I have to dispose of a 5 door Nissan Almera GLX Auto, with all the trimmings (EW air con sun roof etc) as the executor of an estate. The car is a T reg (1999) has done less than 23,000. I believe it was first registered in Ireland and brought over to the UK when it was a few months old.
