"The judges selected the Reventon for its extreme, consistent, sharp-edged styling inspired by modern aeronautics, all features that make it a true work of art," Lamborghini commented. The model, which has a limited production run of only 20, will set buyers back a cool £718,000, placing it out of reach for a number of motor enthusiasts. Lamborghini will be hoping that the model is remembered in the same way as arguably its most famous car - the Diablo.

At a guess, prices are likely to be around £20k, making it the perfect choice for people who would like a new CRV but, because the roads are so bad in their area (for example, Fulham), need a tougher 4x4 with high profile tyres in order to survive the school run. More at www.kia.co.uk

My reply to S.O. is as follows:- "The Omega has different set-up to help prevent 'unintentional acceleration syndrome'. Trying to convert it is likely to cause other problems, like the car running away with you. Either use the parking brake and release it against torque converter take-up. Or learn to use your left foot on the footbrake and release it gradually like a clutch as you apply pressure on the accelerator.

You’ll know when this happens as it lights up the instruments like a Blackpool Illuminations and more than likely won’t run, either. It’s a relatively straightforward fix, costing between £80-£200 to be replaced. Water gets in via a number of ways, heavy rain overcoming the channel above it, though it’s not always ingress from above, some succumbing to a capillary action of moisture getting in.

It can accelerate to more than 60mph on battery power alone. In Korea, an unusual hybrid system running on a mixture of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and battery power has been available for in the Forte saloon, a car similar to the European cee'd hatchback (the green car in the photos). It is powered by a conventional 1.6-litre engine converted to run on LPG and a 15kW electric motor, and though it is unable to run on electric power alone, this combination is sufficient to bring CO 2 emissions down to 94g/km.
