Lamborghini, along with Czech automaker Skoda, is a subsidiary of German motor firm Volkswagen. The brand was established by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963 and among its most famous models is the Lamborghini Diablo, which was produced from 1990 to 2001.

  . The recalls affect some of Britain's favourite cars and includes the BMW 3 Series, Honda Jazz and Vauxhall Corsa.  Volkswagen is also recalling 3800 cars over a seat belt and airbag problem, while Citroen, Honda, BMW and Vauxhall are issuing national alerts over airbag faults.  There are also some significant issues with Porsche and Maserati, with the later recalling the Ghibli and Quattroporte over a fuel leak.

  Ford receives 30,000th scrappage order 24 Nov 2009 (News)
  The vehicle in question was a Transit van and was bought by Quick Electrical Services in Southampton. Boss Dave Quick explained the company wanted to trade in its Volkswagen van and Ford was offering the best package around. He stated: "We needed something newer, bigger and better - and looked at every option before settling on the Transit." In order to be eligible to take part in the government scrappage scheme, van owners must have a vehicle that was registered before March 2002.
