Car for young driver 12 Mar 2002 (Forum)
He has his Pass Plus also which will help to reduce his premium slightly. Anyway, does this seem a suitable car for a young driver? I have seen some decent looking P reg ones with about 50K miles on for less than 3K and they seem well specified. Any young drivers here with one of these? Anyone know the insurance groups? -

Young(ish) Driver's Insurance for Cupra 20 Jun 2001 (Forum)
Just thought I'd add my own thoughts\views to insurance for young drivers: Now, I'm not 'young' young, and I'm going to be getting myself one those SEAT Ibiza Cupras (not the 'R', mind) but I'm amazed at the discrepancies of insurers. My order's going in in a month of so, and as part of any new car buyer's preparations, I've been 'phoning around for quotes. -

Child seats in Taxis 18 Apr 2019 (Forum)
What's the law on this? For young children who would normally be in a kiddie seat, do they have to be in one when in a taxi, or as long as they've got seat belts on does it matter? Would a taxi driver be allowed to pick up a parent and young child without a kiddie seat or is it the parent's responsibility rather than the taxi drivers? -

Cost of insuring Young Drivers 29 Sep 2011 (Forum)

Toot Toot !! 16 Jul 2017 (Forum)
The press has been fulminating about smart/slippery car salesmen who sell to young people with the minimum monthly payment and who never own the vehicle. Perhaps that explains/reinforces my prejudice about drivers, mainly young men, who toot the horn rather than think whether they are to blame for a bad situation - like the one who followed me through the traffic lights and tooted when I had to wait while the lights went onto red before I succeeded in turning right. -

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4014316/So-fault-HGV-driver-crashes-car-undertaking-turned-left-adamant-not-blame.html I surmise that the car driver is one of two things, a young man with an excess of male hormones or a young woman who has been accustommed to gentlemen giving way to her. -
