Citreon - C1 10 Mar 2023 (Forum)

N/A - Electric scooters 21 Feb 2021 (Forum)
Presumably these silent machines will also find their way onto pavements and cycle paths. Do the things even have brakes let alone insurance? This sounds like a very bad idea to me from both a motorist and pedestrian perspective! -
Tall order 13 Oct 2020 (Forum)
Anyone recommend a weekend bike for a 58 yo 6'4" tall rider? I prefer an upright riding postion, simple mechanics, light weight, good handling, good brakes, nice engine note/feel and had a mis-spent youth on dirt bikes (not limited to these though). 30-60 bhp? Trying not to look like a bear on a push bike... -

It took a cautious approach to the findings and suggested that the cars that came off worse were the fault of the owners and that items which fail such as lights wipers and worn brakes happen to any car. It'll be on iplayer if you want to hear the full item. -

TVR Chim - Jacking under the hub OK 2 Jul 2010 (Forum)
I need to do some work on the brakes. Rather than jack up the whole car I was thinking of putting the trolley jack under the wheel hub and jacking that just to get the wheel of the ground. Is this OK to do or could this cause problems (stress on wheel bearing etc)? -

ABS 25 Dec 2009 (Forum)
My current car, a'98 Almera GTi, has ABS, I've had it for 3 years, and I have had it come in twice, once to test it, the second when I had to brake hard, to avoid someone. So why do other people manage to have it come on? -
Mechanical sympathy. 3 Nov 2009 (Forum)
Not holding the car on a slope with the clutch instead of doing a hill start, waiting at traffic lights with foot on clutch instead of handbrake and neutral, violent last minute braking. Driving over kerbs, not slowing down or driving around road imperfections. And is it a company car or yours! -
