Good, practical, economical and expensive to servicing

I bought the car 5 years ago (19000 in the clock) and have not experienced any problem apart from the faulty EGR valve. Cleaned it with a carb cleaner a few times but it was a temporarily solution only so I had to buy a new one for ~£270 inc.VAT from Honda (2011, 77000 in the clock).
Few months later the gearbox input shaft bearings (~£60 from Honda) became very noisy so I replaced myself and changed the clutch kit (bought from the local car shop (~£120)= cheaper) too at the same time + replaced the reverse shift holder for £40 inc.VAT (very easy the change this, 2 bolts holding it). The gearbox oil is ~£25, Castrol Multivehicle 75W-90.
Today I had to order a new near side rear wheel bearing (SKF - £110 from the local shop, £135 from Honda) because it became noisy. Before I did not hear this because the input shaft bearings were heard (was noisier).
Apart from these failures the car is good, roomy.
Luckily I can maintain the car myself, replacing all the filters and oil at the recommended interval, including the valve clearance check and replacing the spark plugs.
The service manual link is available from Honest John review.
To get other useful infos about the car and its fixing I can recommend the following car specific site: c-l-u-b-j-a-z-z.o-r-g.
I mainly drive it on the motorway very carefully to save fuel and I`m getting average 50-55mpg@60mph.
I`m hoping after fixed the last known fault I do not have to pay anything extra apart from the regular maintenance. Fingers crossed.
