Good to drive and not as big as the old 7-series

Overall much better than I'd expect and much more of a driver's car than my previous 7-series. This 740d is very fast for a large saloon yet is a cheaper tax band then my Jaguar XF and much more economical.
Pros: Speed, suspension setting, incredible automatic adaptive headights (never seen anything like them), smooth gearbox, fuel consumption, looks unremarkable, build quality, low emissions, soft-close doors. remote keyfob, good dealer.
Cons: Price (£76k), reversing camera is poor at night, wipers are sometimes noisy, no cooler box, mirrors can't fold in automatically on locking, road noise due to 20" wheels
Overall I really like this car. It's relaxing but surprisingly fun to drive. It doesn't look as large as the previous model so doesn't attract so many keyings etc. The cons may be small, but on a premium car they are justified.
Faults so far: Noisy wipers, one-off failure of right-hand adaptive headlight system.
