Kia recalls Soul over steering issue

Published 21 June 2016

Kia is recalling all Soul and Soul EV models built between 18 January 2014 and 30 September 2015. The recall is to fix a fault with the steering system which, in extreme circumstances, could cause the steering to fail.

5707 UK cars are affected, owners of which will be contacted by Kia. The recall work takes roughly an hour and costs nothing to the owner. There is no evidence that the fault has caused any injuries or accidents so far, nor have there been any complaints.
