Double Nectar points from Ford

During August Ford is giving away double Nectar points for MOTs, servicing and non-warranty repairs when they’re undertaken at participating Ford dealers.

Customers will receive four Nectar points for every £1 they spend on servicing, MOTs and non-warranty repairs, and if their car is up to nine years old and has fewer than 100,000 miles on the clock then they also qualify for up to 12 months free roadside assistance in the UK and Europe.

Ford first had a double points month in February, which saw 42 million points issued to customers, which is enough for 5,000 family tickets to various tourist attractions.

Andy Barratt, Ford's UK customer service director, said:  "Summer vacations are a popular time for driving, so now is the perfect time for our customers to earn extra points while they get a holiday check-up for their car."

Last year Ford gave away more than 180 million Nectar points to its customers.
