Cheap car finance deal shoppers given Honda option

Wed, 27 Jan 2010
Those on the lookout for a cheap car finance deal may find Honda's latest offer of interest.

Its Insight is now available on a new PCP offer of £199 per month.

Honda claims this vehicle's on-the-road price undercuts its nearest hybrid competitor - the Toyota Prius - by £3,165.

A low initial deposit and APR of 5.9 per cent might make this option affordable enough for new car buyers.

Head of marketing Tom Gardner expressed confidence that this deal would put more UK motorists in the driver's seat of an Insight.

"It helps customers spread the payments while also benefiting from the low outright purchase price and low running costs," he explained.

The auto's fuel economy of 64.2mpg and exemption from the London Congestion charge contribute to the cheaper maintenance fees.

Honda also recently introduced its CR-Z, which it claims is the world's first six-speed manual hybrid car.
