A4 named best company car

Mon, 23 Mar 2009
Firms looking at buying cars may want to consider the Audi A4 after the model's success at a recent industry event.

The vehicle has driven away with the title of Company Car of the Year from the Fleet News 2009 awards.

According to the manufacturer, this is further evidence of the growing popularity of the model among business users.

The motor was also named Best Large Premium Car in the same honours.

Both fleet bosses and a panel of experts had a say in the company vehicle accolade.

Commenting on the winning model, chairman of the judges Christopher Macgowan stated: "The Audi A4 was a clear winner with Fleet News readers."

He added: "They obviously agree with the awards judging panel, recognising the A4's talents."

Meanwhile, head of Audi fleet sales Iain Carmichael said the company was particularly pleased with the honour because it was voted for by people who use the vehicle every day.

In related news, the A4 was the best selling premium car in Germany last year.
