Mazda Spring Specials From £12,995

Based on the Mazda3, Mazda5 and Mazda6, prices start from just £12,995 on-the-road. All gain stylish exterior and interior enhancements, with a selection of special equipment, unique interior touches, and handsome alloy wheels.

Mazda’s Katano special editions return with updated features. Both the Mazda3 Katano and Mazda6 Katano (based on 5-door hatchback TS models) have a Siemens VDO Navimaster portable touch-screen satellite navigation system with full European mapping and free ‘Traffic Master Channel’ reports and congestion warnings.

The Mazda3 1.6 Katano also has 15-inch alloy wheels, a chrome exhaust trim and a choice of Sunlight Silver metallic or Black Mica exterior paint finish. The price is £12,995 – a saving of more than £1,000 on a similarly equipped TS model.

With a 2.0-litre, 147ps engine and six-speed manual transmission, the Mazda6 Katano is priced at £14,995 – a saving of £655 on the TS model. It can be ordered in Silver Contrail Metallic or Black Mica paint and is fitted with a rear spoiler, twin chrome exhausts and 16-inch five-spoke alloys.

Also there are two versions of the Mazda5 Furano. Based on the Mazda5 2.0 Sport, the Furano adds a sports styling kit including a front bumper, side skirts, rear skirts and rear spoiler, plus clear tail light lenses. Choice ot exterior colours are Stellar Silver Metallic, Galaxy Grey Mica or Strato Blue Mica paint finishes.

All Furano models feature 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, sliding rear side doors and a 6-CD autochanger. The 145ps petrol engine has a five-speed manual transmission, while the 143ps diesel has a six-speed manual transmission. Black leather trim is available as a £1,000 option on petrol models, excluding those in Stellar Silver.

Both Furano models cost an extra £445 above the regular Mazda5, but come with more than £1,700 of extras. The petrol model is priced at £16,995, while the diesel costs £18,595 (on-the-road).

‘SPECIAL EDITION’ SPORTS CARS

The special edition Mazda MX-5 2.0i ZSport is priced at £19,995 on-the-road, £1,045 more than the Mazda MX-5 2.0i Sport with six-speed transmission, but offers further value with more than £2,250 worth of additional or exclusive extras. These include Radiant Ebony Mica paintwork, bespoke 17-inch BBS multi-spoke alloy wheels, a stylish chrome front grille surround complete with other exterior chrome touches and discreet ZSport badging.

Inside, there is special Stone-coloured leather upholstery, a brushed aluminium dash panel, chrome air vent bezels, climate control air conditioning and alloy pedals. Just 400 examples of the ZSport will be available in the UK.

The line-up of Spring Specials are completed by the Mazda RX-8 Kuro Limited Edition 4-seat 4-door coupe. With a power output of 231ps and six-speed transmission, the Mazda RX-8 Kuro will be strictly limited to 500 vehicles, each finished in Sparkling Black Mica paint (‘Kuro’ translates as ‘Black’ in Japanese), with special exterior badging and five-spoke, 18-inch dark silver alloy wheels. Each Mazda RX-8 Kuro has its own unique vehicle number clearly displayed on its bespoke stainless-steel scuff plates, while the seats and interior are trimmed in unique Stone-coloured leather, with co‑ordinated stitching featured on the leather wrapped steering wheel, gear knob and hand-brake lever. The price is C £23,995 on-the-road.
