Free Fuel For a Year With MGs and Rovers

Fri, 03 Jan 2003
MG Rover Group announces today a 'free fuel until 2004' offer on MG and Rover cars registered before 31 March 2003. But taxi drivers and company reps hold it right there. Rover retail buyers will be given a fuel payment card with sufficient funds to match the calculated average mileage of a typical driver based on 10,000 miles a year or 833 miles a month up to and including December 2003. The calculation is based on the combined cycle fuel consumption figure for the manual variant of the model purchased. And it gets worse: The offer excludes Rover 25 i/iE and Rover 45 iE models. Rover 25 Impression and Impression S, MG ZR 105 and MG ZR Turbo Diesel models have a lower 5,000 mile / 416 mile per month projected mileage. Offers apply to the UK mainland only (not Ireland).

Alternatives to free fuel are available, and include 2-years' free servicing, or cashback alternatives, or finance deposit contributions or insurance contributions, all conditional upon circumstances or model chosen.
