7-Seat Nissan Patrol Down to £24,000

Thu, 16 Jan 2003
Nissan has cut the spec of its massive Patrol GR 4x4 7 seater and brought the entry level price down to £24,000.

For that you get a full size 5,010mm x 2,090mm 7 seater weighing in at 2,335kg and capable of towing 3,500kg. Power comes from a 3.0 litre direct injected turbodiesel which pumps out 156bhp and 354Nm (261lb ft) torque at 2,000rpm. ABS, rear diff lock, selectable high and low ratio four wheel drive, free wheeling front hubs with manual lock and switchable rear stabiliser bar for increased wheel travel are all standard. So are air conditionaing and a single CD player. It even has a wading capability of 700mm (27.6"). You don't get alloy wheels, body couloured bumpers or body coloured wheelarch extensions.

Of course, if you want to spend more than £24,000, you can. A new SVE model replaces last year's SE, comes with foglights, leather seats, sunroof, 16" alloy wheels and 6 CD autochanger for £28,395 as a manual or £29,795 as an auto.
