Rover Olympic Specials From £8,740

On the back of its involvement with the UK Olympic team, Rover has launched a range of 25 and 45 specials which appear to be quite good value for money.

Cheapest at £8,740 for the three-door is the Rover 25 Olympic Impression which comes with the 84PS 1.4 engine, 15 inch Octet alloy wheels, remote central locking and a range of smart metallics: Almina Green, British Racing Green, Tahiti Blue, Midnight Blue, Platinum Silver, Sienna Gold or Solar Red. £9,560 buys the Olympic Impression S which also has air conditioning, electric front windows and a CD/radio tuner. An extra £500 gets you two extra doors. Standard on all is driver's airbag, alarm/immobiliser, pas, height-adjustable steeting wheel, tinted glass and 60/40 split folding rear seats.

The Rover 45 Olympic Impression in the photo comes as a 5-door hatch or 4-door saloon with a choice of four engines from the 103PS 1.4 to the 2.0 litre turbodiesel. Standard extra kit on all 25 Olympic Impressions includes air-conditioning, CD/radio tuner, electric front wiondows, electric door mirrors. Colours are: Platinumn Silver, Copperleaf Red, Solar Red, Steel Blue, Midnight Blue or British Racing Green. Prices start at £11,480 and rise to £14,650 for Impression S models which also have alloy wheels and leather trim.
