Today's Auction Prices at BCA Blackbushe

Fri, 15 Dec 2000
Prices achieved were best described as realistic at BCA Blackbushe today. Unlike some fleets offering cars two days previously, a well known bank was prepared to let its cars go for sensible money. A smart, bright red 99S Vectra 1.8iLS Estate with 110,000 miles sold for just £3,125: not much at all for a £15,000 car still to celebrate its second birthday. French models continue to attract low bids with £2,100 enough to buy a 75,000 mile 96P Citroen Xantia 1.8i 16v Dimension with a/c and just £1,050 taking a 108,000 mile 96N Xantia 1.6i. A 93,000 mile 97P Peugeot 406 1.8L sold for £2,400; a 59,000 mile Peugeot 406 1.8LX with a/c sold for £4,400; while top bid for a 105,000 mile 98S Renault Laguna 1.6RN 16v was a derisory £2,750. Top buys at todays sale included a 79,000 mile 98S Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 24v CD for £4,800, a 60,000 mile 97R Omega 2.5 V6 24v Elite automatic estate car for £7,400 and a 50,000 mile 98S Volvo V70 T5 SE automatic at £12,100.
