All new Kias to now come with a seven year warranty

Mon, 04 Jan 2010

Every new Kia sold from 1 January 2010 will now come with a seven year warranty as standard.

It means that Kia is now offering the most generous warranty package not only in the UK, but the whole of Europe.

Previously the full seven year warranty was offered on selected models only - such as the Cee'd - but it will now be offered on every car that Kia sells in the UK, from the Picanto city car to the Sedona full-size MPV.

The warranty is transferable, allowing both new and used buyers to benefit from the added peace of mind.

Warranty small print

  • There is no mileage limit to the warranty for the first three years, except for vehicles used as a Taxi, when coverage is limited to 100,000 miles. Over the full period of the warranty, the overall mileage limit is 100,000 miles.
  • Qualifications that will apply to the new warranty include: paintwork is covered for 5 years (depending on model), audio for 3 years and 60,000 miles and service parts, accessories and batteries for 2 years.
  • Normal 'wear & tear' on items such as tyres, brake pads and clutch linings, is excluded from cover.
