It's the half-moon cut-outs in the welded seam beneath the sill, one near the front and another near the back of the sill to which they're referring. As this method of jacking is now becoming common across manufacturers, I was pleased to see that scissors jacks which you can get for a tenner or less from car-parts shops now have an offset slot in the jacking pad, to locate them correctly under the sill.
